From Newcastle and the South
Leave the A1 at the A696 North (signposted Newcastle Airport).
Follow the A696 for 29 miles. Continue on A68 (same road) for 22 miles.
At Jedburgh Abbey turn left for 1/4 mile.
At Jedburgh Court/Police Station (T-junction) turn left up Castlegate (past the Castle Jail).
Follow for 3 miles past golfcourse.
Turn right on minor road (signposted Ruecastle).
We are the middle one of the first row of cottages on the left.
From Carlisle and the South
Leave the M6 at junction 44.
Take the A7 North.
Follow the A7 for 39 miles to Hawick.
At the mini roundabout turn right along the high street.
At the Morrisons roundabout go straight on along A698 Weensland road.
Follow this road for 7 miles through Denholm.
At a sharp left hand bend (Jedburgh indicated to follow the road) turn right on B6358.
After about a mile take the first turn left on a minor road (signposted Ruecastle).
We are the middle one of the first row of cottages on the left.
From Edinburgh and the North
Leave the A720 City Bypass at Sheriffhall roundabout.
Take the A68 through Dalkeith.
Follow this road for 38 miles.
Take the right turn A698 towards Hawick.
After one and a half miles take the left turn (onto a single track road) opposite a white cottage with bollards outside.
At the top of the hill turn right.
Follow this road past a farm and 2 cottages.
Quarter of a mile after the farm we are the middle one of the row of cottages on the right. .
From Selkirk
Take the A7 South.
At the BP garage at the top of the hill turn left for St Boswells.
At the A68 turn right towards Jedburgh.
Take the right turn A698 towards Hawick.
After one and a half miles take the left turn (onto a single track road) opposite a white cottage with bollards outside.
At the top of the hill turn right.
Follow this road past a farm and 2 cottages.
Quarter of a mile after the farm we are the middle one of the row of cottages on the right.
From Berwick-upon-Tweed
Take the A698 through Kelso.
At Bonjedward turn right on the A68 towards Edinburgh.
After a half mile take the left turn A698 towards Hawick.
After one and a half miles take the left turn (onto a single track road) opposite a white cottage with bollards outside.
At the top of the hill turn right.
Follow this road past a farm and 2 cottages.
